First, Walmart and all stores should get rid of self checkout period. Companies continue to nickel and dime the consumer.

Remember, it is still Indiana. Not exactly the progressive capital of America!
Something stinks about how this case was handled. Unless someone has a record of trouble with breaking the law (sheesh, if if they DO have a record, sometimes), some benefit of the doubt is often extended and the situation is resolved quietly. The details of what happened indicate that she's paid an enormously painful price for something that added up to a lot of nothing.
I hope she gets an opportunity to restart her coaching career, if that's what she wants.
