Greetings. Season ticket holder & proud alum. Love what Coach Powell is doing with this program. If this has been answered elsewhere, I sincerely apologize. However, is there any official word on Scroggins' lack of playing time? He doesn't seem to be injured and is fully dressed. He looks locked-in during games. I wasn't at the Eastern Illinois game but stat sheet says he logged 5 minutes. Been looking forward to seeing him in the brown & gold. Appreciate it - go VU.
No official word as to why he hasn't played from what I've seen. I think he's just a rock in a hard place at the moment. Stuck between Cooper and Sepp.

If he's not hurt (and maybe even if he is), there will be no official word on playing time for any player.
Appreciate the feedback. I was happy to see him come in v. DePaul. Seems the hypothesis pertaining to being stuck between Cooper & Sepp is a fair take. The athleticism differential clearly favors Scroggins over Sepp. However, there's no denying Sepp's grit and all the things he does not included on stat lines that necessitate his PT.
