It does not seem to matter who we play. We go cold in the first half, get down by double digits, and make the game a miserable claw to get within 5.

Evansville is just having a generational game from beyond the arch right now. Guys seem rattled by it/ THis is a team that could not get the 3s to go in every other game, and they look like the Golden State Warriors today.

I think we would take most of the shots Evansville has taken so far, they’ve just gone in. Offense is a different story, though.

Wow! Uncharacteristic 1st half for Valpo. The Aces are unconscious with their 3 pt shooting which is opening everything else up. I’m not sure how we come back from this. Brutal!
I wouldnt say terriblwe game prep. The defense is executing. Evansville just sold their souls to the basketball gods for today. These are as low percentage shots as you can get, and they are quite simply just going in. Meanwhile Valpo gets open looks on the other end. And they dont.
What did I say about being competitive in almost every game this year! They can't miss. Play Elis and press the whole second half, because this game is over. Makes you wonder how Aces have been blown out in a few games. Belmont up 22 at Murray @ half!
No disrespect to Evansville but I decided to switch over to watching DePaul at Butler. In a few short weeks the Beacons have gone from brimming with confidence to struggling to keep any games close. Roger has his work cut out for him to get the team direction back on track and I have no idea how he is going to pull it off.
