@valpofb16 Thanks for the progressive roster picture with each of your posts. What has evolved IMO is a pretty well-balanced incoming class by position. A deeper dive, which I am not capable of, would better address whether we are plugging the holes that we’ve suffered through graduation and the portal. I respect your judgment and would like to hear your analysis of this aspect.
Ha, ha. There is one thing I’ve noticed. There are, proportionally, a few more Ohio kids coming through the door than in previous years. Gee, I wonder why that’s happening? 🙄

Another Ohio guy. Looking at other offers, another thing that comes out is that many of these Ohio guys are getting mostly DIII offers. Understandable, given Waddle’s background. That may not be a bad thing as the conference Marietta was in was kick butt.
Those teams tend to graduate 20-30 incumbent seniors every year. Which has been Valpo's Achille's heel for 20 years. My guess is the talent level is roughly the same. All comes down to retention.

@valpofb16 He hit a 50 yard FG in the 4th game of this past season - school record. Not too shabby. And this is not Perry, HS, Perry, OH. He played for the Massilon Perry HS Panthers. Also, not too shabby.
