Final regular season game of the year. What does everyone expect to see today? What does anyone want to see from individual players? Curious to see our effort versus UIC's today. Will our three point shooting disappear today?

I doubt if our team even shows up today and our 3 point shooting will completely disappear. Thinking   I believe they play tomorrow.

Their size hurt us last time around and it likely will again.

Looks like UIC can be our first round opponent in Arch Madness. Start the two big guys and give them some playing time. Will completely throw them off.

I wouldnt mind some experimentation... how bout 3 non guards in at times... cooper sepp ellis, cooper sepp carson...cooper ellis carson etc...just see if we can get some defensive boards. Just dabble try it for a few stretches. As I remember They outrebounded us by double digits at the ARC and we actually took a brief lead around 3 minutes left.

This team is really good at digging holes but needs some work on filling them up.

I only saw the last 4 minutes of half. Have we gone small all the way?

Is All Wright not looking to pass because he’s trying to get as many highlight reel shots up for  potential coaches in the transfer portal?

Too many defensive lapses, rebounding. Cooper was great, but why was UIC not doubling him?

No scoring from anyone other than Wright, Cooper.

Fantastic game for Cooper. As aggressive as I can recall seeing him. Nobody else shot well at all and I agree that you'd think UIC would have attempted to let someone else beat them.

Either UIC or Illinois State in Rd. 1. If it is UIC, someone else will have to beat them as I'll be shocked if they let Cooper run roughshod over them again.

Watching this, I thought Valpo really should have won over a sloppy UIC team. We should be better than these clowns.

It appeared Shaw was in street clothes and Sepp barely saw the court. People have figured out the Schmidt is a step slow for D1 and everyone else isn’t a consistent shooter. Going to be a make or break off season

We can't say that Tyler is a step slow for D-1.  He has shown that he belongs, but hit a rough patch over the last few weeks.  For more than half the season, he showed that he belonged.  He might have just taken a beating with his playing style against bigger bodies.  He didn't need to be extra quick to score.  He found lots of fantastic ways to score for the bulk of the season.

Well something has clearly changed. Could be that teams have figured out how to defend him or maybe he just hit a rough patch. Same thing with Jeff. We are in the bottom two for three point shooting. Something needs to change

Tyler is a little slow and a little short for competing with the best players in the MVC. On certain nights in certain matchups he does fine but his moves are now known and anticipated and this doesn't appear to have anything to do with a slump. I think the rough patch both of you refer to is just the reality of trying to compete night in and night out with some outstanding MVC competition. I think somebody on this board already said it but it appears the wall he has hit is actually his ceiling. His on the floor knowledge and techniques have been a pleasure to watch but I am not certain that I would want him to return for 25-26 even if he can. Why? Because he would compete for playing time with younger players with higher ceilings.
