An assistant position Coach does not do much at the Colegiate level and is usually a volunteer.
thats how you build a coaching tree at this level. Get as many GAs and volunteer help as possible. Hope some pan out and remain loyal to the coach. Way more cost effective than hiring out

I think Mr or Mrs "support"'s characterization of this guy as a glorified water boy is likely the closest to the truth. Valpo's not making this "announcement". It's coming from the writer.

There is no evidence that he does. He does not appear on the FB staff directory (which is updated rather quickly with changes). There has been no announcement. No mention on any Valpo X site. And no mention on the unofficial football insider X site Valpo_huddle. Everything, so far, is speculation based on HIS X post. I recall back a few years some kid announcing he had committed to VU basketball ……. but it was a scam. And a lot of us on this board got sandbagged by that. Let’s wait to judge till there is something concrete.
Man. Wait til you guys hear about all the student volunteers on large programs. We had a guy like this when I played. Maybe held one conversation. Never listed on roster coaching HS now.
