The MVC is currently ranked 9th in overall conference RPI and ratings for 2024. They fall short of the 6 power conferences, The Mountain West, and the A-10 in overall rankings. Seeing as the MW will most likely replace the PAC-12 as a power conference, this leaves the Missouri Valley as the second best Mid-Major conference in the country behind the A-10 for overall basketball RPI and ratings.
Valley is 10th in Net behind AAC. I was shocked to see that the MAC is now 23rd in NET with the Horizon sitting at #20. Central Michigan (which we thought was a bad loss) finished middle of MAC pack. The MVC is currently ranked 9th in overall conference RPI and ratings for 2024. @justducky Yeah the rankings I have is based on RPI and Ratings (ie Viewership). I prefer teamrankings.net over the NET purely because NET does not take into account the ratings, which is becoming increasingly more of a pull for strength of conference with all of the NIL and transfer BS.

Conference tournament viewership top 10
Pretty cool stat for the conference, in having the 7th highest Men's viewership
@valpotx Once the MW becomes a High Major next year, MVC will most likely become a "High-Mid major" like the A10 has become. Maybe the MVC can get themselves a few live TV games like the A10 does. Even though Valpo has not been too good, athletes care about how much exposure they are going to get. Being in the MVC has already gotten us some perks. Powell said he only came back because we were in a "more competitive league" with the MVC. Here's to hoping the MVC becomes a "relevant" conference.
EDIT: Just started watching the play in rounds, and I noticed that the games are being played at UD arena. Maybe once the MVC gets more recognition (Had about as much viewership as the Big East) MVC schools can host March Madness games. The only school that would be eligible, however, would be Bradley and the Peoria Civic Center
