Cooper has signed with Wake Forest according to on3 website.
According to twitter, X or whatever it is these days....this is correct from multiple sources.
Ah, following in David Skara’s footprints. David did quite well for himself in the ACC.
Good decision to get a quality education while playing basketball. Assuming Carson also transfers to Wake, his playing time will be very limited, but Cooper should be a second or third option in scoring.
I guess I’ll still be rooting for him at Wake. My middle daughter went there and did a lot of kinesiology work with the basketball team and used to run and work out with Skip Prosser. She was devastated when he died so suddenly. Those Wake Forest Prosser teams were fun to watch.
Wright has signed with Xavier
Happy that neither signed with Butler!!
My guess is that Wright will be a third or fourth scoring option at Xavier, so it will be interesting to see how it works out.

Maybe higher up the food chain. Xavier lost Conwell and Swain and had a bunch of others who I'm not sure if they have eligibility left.
I like Wright's landing spot over Schweiger even though I think Cooper is the better player at the moment. Richard Pitino generally has very good guard play...much like his father...and he should really help Wright.
Some may relish the kick me sign on their back but there are many programs in the same boat as Valpo in terms of losing players.

You're right about that, but the reality doesn't put VU in a better competitive position. It just means that lots of other schools, including just about every mid-major, are also part of a collegiate G League set-up for the top programs and conferences.
Well if you want to call it "luckily". Powell is not alone in wanting contracts with buyouts to become the standard. Unfortunately, the people who will be managing the NIL post court ruling is the very people you dont want managing it. The Power 5

Depends on what competitive means. Valpo should worry about the MVC and do what's necessary to be competitive in that conference.

It's hard to get excited about a conference that is becoming a de facto minor league for more athletically prominent schools. Roster building is becoming more akin to picking a new fantasy basketball team each year.
