Very relieved that we potentially have two true centers on the roster. I am optimistic about their ability to plug the hole we had last season.
Three scholarships left-what/who is on your wish list? I think we need a SG and SF, hopefully with some experience from a winning program.
ACTUALLY 5 MORE SCHOLARSHIPS SINCE IT WAS INCREASED TO 15 THIS YEAR
15 scholarships yes, but only if there are no walk-ons since the roster limit is 15 total. So given that Joe Vick and Nick Lombardi are still appearing in social media posts, I’d assume only 3 spots left.
But I’d want first and foremost D1 experience. Only 3 scholarship players for next year (Dease, Barnes, McNair) have D1 experience, I would like some more of that.

We had bigs the last two seasons, but they saw infrequent minutes if any at all. There appears to be little or no effort of development for those bigs as all have left over the past two seasons.
Perhaps Roger has recognized that without a “big” paint presence in the MVC we are a perennial #11. Here’s hoping, between 6’10” Tupuola, who is experienced and was impressive against us, and 6’9” 240# Walker, who will be a project but is a wide body, that slot is gonna be solid. But IMO, Roger has got to commit to those two being on the court a lot at the 5 and not bail on the idea after some experiments in favor of lots of small line ups.
Not sure we have the "can get his own shot" guy on the roster. Wright, Schmidt, Stafford types.
I like Kobe Walker's bully ball approach. It is something we have needed to compete in the MVC for a while now. We've always had the big guys that can go down low if they have to, but it wasn't their preference. He needs to work on his dribbling, as it looks like he went to the Cooper Schweiger school of slow/high bounces to gain momentum, but he will hopefully learn that quickly.
This is fascinating if not sad, but I found this when doing some background on our recruit Isaiah Barnes. This is from their roster page. Click on a link and get this: https://opendorse.com/profile/isaiah-barnes-profile?from=tulsa-goldenhurricane

What is fascinating but sad? Went to the UT MBB roster site and found a normal bio. Nothing unusual. I then came back to your link above and found nothing other than a pretty empty site with just his name.

Really? When I click it it shows a list of dollars Isaiah will charge for various things. Like, $32 for an autograph or $45 for an appearance. Fascinating in that this is part of the official schools roster setup and sad that this is what college sports has come to.
Sad. Not only does he have a price list. It is a cheap price list that still feels like a rip off.
@vu72 Sorry to belabor this. Yes, I see the price list from your posted link. I went back to Barnes’ roster listing, clicked on everything I could find, and couldn’t hit one to get me to your link. How’d you do it? Now I’m just curious.
Yeah I feel like this is the type of thing many assumed NIL was going to look like vs just blank checks to come to a school on a yearly basis

Exactly. It was my initial impression of NIL and not millions of dollars from donors who have nothing better to do with their money.
I don't find the mentioned "price list" to be offensive or off putting in any fashion.
