I think this weeks interview with Brandon tells us a lot. To me, Roger just seemed tired and, to some degree, beat down some. Comments like "our roster wasn't built to compete at a high level in this league" or "with the roster that I have" tells me that he is realistic but also that he understands the challenges he faces to get Valpo back to a competitive level.

Surprised we’re down by only 17. I think Roger is right, the talent is just not there.
This game is an opportunity for players to step up and the only person doing so is Palm.
