While Valpo has hired two FCS division conference champion coordinators the last two coaches. I believe the best method may be to keep RJ.
1) He has been a part of what had worked at Valpo. He had 3/4 DL make true all-conference this season coaching the position. And had Evan Annis as a 1st team all conference member last season
2) he has been the primary recruiter in the transfer portal bringing guys like Robert Washington, Sam Johnson, Ben Neisner, and Kobey Fitzgerald to Valpo.
3) We keep his California pipeline alive and he was a part of PFL championships at San Diego
4) by all accounts a players coach and younger to build around
Just a thought. I’m sure with the success from Butler, Drake , Davidson coaches there will be someone overqualified for Valpo that applies.
That will be a hard pass, no thanks
