The Bears recently lost to Evansville 40-57 🙃 , this is a winnable game. I like how we’ve been playing, offense has looked crisp. Vegas initially had us at 3.5 point underdogs and the moneyline at +154, both have moved out of Valpo’s favor to +5 and +180. Prove em wrong…

Many questions......How focused will the team be at the jump and for 40 minutes? Does everyone expect the effort to be there from the start tonight? Is their a hangover from the last game? Does Cooper stay out of foul trouble and play with more aggression from the tip? Will Monegro continue to be ball dominant and take to many shots. Schmidt should be hunting his shot more from deep. Shaw needs a break out and Ellis continues to be lost with his roll.
Missouri State is hot garbage and very beatable tonight. We have a lot more winnable games this year and the Sulukis are awful after today's loss to Aces by 20 and UIC took down Drake! This will be an interesting conference season.
Can we play another good defensive game, winning the rebounding advantage on the road. We take lessons learned from 2OT road loss and make an extra shot or FT for the hard earned MVC road win.

Anyones game in the second half. Great curl screen to Schmidt to close out the half. Defense and rebounding will be our keys to wining. Ellis is playing well. Cooper had 3 fouls at half last week as well.

In all seriousness, wow were we lucky to get out of there. Missouri State is not looking good this year and we scored two points in the last 5:30 of game time.

Road wins are good but I have less confidence in the team now than I had before tipoff.
We escape with a W! Our inability to guard their post guy and not extending the lead to 15-20 points nearly cost us. We still don't have a closer in the crunch time when the game is on the line. A lot of nice contributors on offense tonight and we are starting to gel, but the interior defense woof woof
We may have gotten the win, but that was rough. MoSt lost the game more than us winning it. Very fortunate.
