First, it would be great if we can take at least one of the next two games against UIC and Drake, both formidable teams. Hopefully fans show up at the ARC this Saturday!
That will set us up nicely for the following nine games, which have several very winnable games, especially the first and last three, and some great rematches in the middle. This is definitely the easier stretch compared to start of season schedule.
I say we want six of the nine. Wishful thinking?

Even after the four game losing streak, I don’t think it is wishful thinking. I think we can go 6-3 over the next nine games. That would put us at 9-9 with 2 games left. Then hopefully we win one of the last two to finish 10-10.
6-3? Not wishful thinking but the problem is all of these teams seem pretty evenly matched so I suspect a 5-4 or 4-5 outcome.
Overly optimistic-maybe. But I expect Valpo to win most games at home and do better on the road. So, 4-1 at home and 2-2 on the road.
