Not much to say,but we did beat them once this year. Maybe go for a double?

They are hot, we are cold but we have a chance. I'll be there.
Illinois State 70
Valparaiso 68
Vale of Paradise 66
Illinois State 64
I am forever an optimist
We finish the season by ending another long losing streak.
Valpo 69
illSt 64
on to the Arch!
Valpo is home underdog (+5.5), with the lowest o/u at 137.5
other MVC odds today:
MOST giving 5 to UIC
SIU giving 3 to UNI
Sycs giving 14 to Murray State
Drake giving 4 to DaBraves
Belmont giving 11 to Rags
If the favorites hold, the final standings would be:
Indiana state 17-3
Drake 16-4
Bradley 13-7
SIU 12-8
Belmont 12-8
UNI 11-9
Illinois State 10-10
Murray State 9-11
Evansville 6-14
UIC 4-16
Valpo 2-18
- The winner of the UNI-SIU game will be 12-8. The loser will be 11-9. Belmont will finish 12-8 with a win Sunday and 11-9 with a loss on Sunday, and Belmont will be tied with either UNI or Southern Illinois, and what team that is depends on UNI-SIU game outcome. Notably, Belmont split with UNI and split with Southern Illinois, so that two-way tie involving Belmont-TBD will be broken by the NCAA NET rankings of Monday morning (March 4).
Going into today's action... the NET rankings are:
Indiana state 29
Drake 48
Bradley 59
SIU 105
Belmont 121
UNI 116
Illinois State 172
Murray State 158
Evansville 201
UIC 179
Valpo 303
Yup. Scoreboard watching will be interesting... but, if I'm reading this right, we won't know who we are playing until Monday's NET comes out.
This is where we start rebuilding our Arch Madness dream.
We must believe it's possible.
I actually remember very well seeing this sight from my grandmother's house in the 1960's.
Get those men a cup of coffee - we are learning how to close!
....and we have a winna at the ARC!
Nice to end the regular season with a win.
Cooper is the man.
This is where we start rebuilding our Arch Madness dream.
We must believe it’s possible.
And the rebuilding has begun!
@historyman No Edwards or Ajiboye and Darius was limited to playing 20 minutes. What is the story on them?
This win in the final home game felt like a birdie on the 18th hole after a terrible bogie-filled round of golf. Despite the difficulties in the previous 17 holes, when that last putt falls into the cup, it leaves a good taste, lingering and encouraging enough for a return next time with some renewed hope.
Was installing a tin ceiling in one of our rooms and didn’t take a break until 3 minutes to go in the game. Glad I did. Happy for the kids. Happy for the newly engaged Jerome (who also scored 8pts). Happy for Connor. Did Cooper put an exclamation point on FOY, or what?!?!? Roger was right, Coop has the makings.
Getting back to FOY, MVCFans posters have dissed Coop cuz he is ‘only’ the best player on a bad team, so naturrally he gets more playing time than better freshmen who spend more minutes on the bench on better teams. FALSE! Coop plays and scores against the league’s best every night regardless who is guarding him (ahh…from those better teams, I might add). …….. and he still probably has a baby tooth or two. Kripes, with more muscle and experience, think about the next three years 🧐
