I would really like to read a story about Roger Powell's vision for the men's basketball program in the New NIL landscape. A one on one interview would be great. As a fan, I have trouble seeing how to navigate the rebuild that Powell has described before and I would like to see this from his perspective.

I second this, and a big part of it would have to be some pushback on the idea that he can just keep doing what he’s doing and “move on to the next recruit”. He hit back to back grand slams with b2b Freshmen of the Year awards and it didn’t even get us a .500 record with both of them on the same team. Even assuming the FOY award continues to be a Valpo exclusive award, it needs to be coupled with some success in the transfer portal if we actually want to win.
If he wants his job to exclusively be develop talent and then congratulate them on their big check from the bigger schools then he should apply to be the next manager of the South Bend Cubs.
