I really don’t understand how we consistently suck at shooting threes no matter who is on the roster. We have been an abysmal shooting team ever since fazekas graduated. Bring in 40% shooter Stafford, BOOM he shoots 28%. Seems to happen every year

How can you be suprised, there has been way too much optimism on this board predicting a Valpo fan just based on a close home win on senior day. Time now to get serious talent and recruit and hit the transfer protocol hard.

I don't know how he shot elsewhere but with Valpo he takes an inordinate number of 3 pointers in which he is not exactly "setting the puppies straight" as Raftery would say.
He also shot 31% with SIU two years ago before shooting 45% with Logan last year. Now he's back to the low 30's. So which is the anomaly? He doesn't look like a shooter. A shooter we're surprised when he misses an open look. He's more of a flinger and off balance half the time. I realize there's not much on the roster offensively but he should not, moving forward, have anywhere near the green light he appears to have this year.

Calm down...they are not playing well. They haven't played well against Belmont all season. There is no need to be hostile.
@rezynezy in fairness and reality you mentioned this team could beat anyone in the conference. Valpo in 2023-24 is what their record is, and that's very difficult to deny, and that's ok. Now we need a buttload of talent.
