While the over-all season numbers are similar, they weren't in the games that mattered most, and most importantly, one freshman improved as the season went on and the other regressed.

@valpo64 He's referring to former Beacon who transferred from Wisconsin, 7-foot Joe Hedstrom.
He played in the Valpo church league this past season.
He injured his toe a couple years ago, leading to the nickname Big Toe Joe. He does NOT like it.
I have to believe that he is speaking about Joe Hedstrom, since he was a big from Wisconsin, and it sounds like though he is not playing basketball, he is still a student?

He did have some other issues which include, but are not necessarily limited to, a citing for underage drinking and a separate citing for possession of marijuana. Probably a bad PR fit for the Rev's roster.
Yalden is probably asking for a lot of money in signing bonuses and schools just dont want to pay for it given his circumstances.
Dilling didn't make sense for Valpo after our recent additions. We need a big, and hopefully have such a thing secured with Powell's tweet.
