The contents from the beginning of this thread to the end are entertaining. What an ending, and what a great prediction by @cuvufan.

Yes watched the whole game. My wife and I both jumped out our chairs when McNair hit that shot. One of the greatest comebacks in VU basketball history. Can not fault some fans from turning off the game though. The first 30 minutes were horrendous.

Shocking win! Team was at a 9 count with seven minutes and change left. Down 22. This reminds me of the comeback at Detroit Mercy down 11 with 2 minutes left, this game was a miraculous win. Sports Center top 10 #1. This could be a season changing win. With that being said. Our dribble drive defense was horrendous most of the game. WHAT A MIRACULOUS COMEBACK. Just when the announcers said around 7 minutes left that Valpo is tired, 4th game in 9 days, Cooper has been quite then boom, Cooper went off!

Ohhh baby something to be positive about, unbelievable, our program needed that , reminiscent of Markus Golder half court buzzer  beater but was late season if I remember correctly with little to play for, come on Beacons, we’re here for highs and lows , and man that’s all time high..!!!!

Wow, what fightback over the last 6 minutes, when down by 21-22, only to win on that long 3 by McNair!  We played like absolute dog sh!t on defense and on defensive rebounding for the first 33-34 minutes, before our comeback.  Cooper finally decided to be himself on offense during that stretch, and was unstoppable, with McNair coming up clutch throughout, as well. Wright with a strong drive and drop to Sepp to tie it late.  We can tolerate Cooper's below average defense for a full game when he is scoring, which is how it turned out, though he did play some solid defense at the end, as well.  We should have won earlier in the game against this WMU team, but probably learned a lot about ourselves in how we stole this one.  I can't imagine how WMU's HC is feeling, as that is a gut punch that will last for days.

Also, for a school of 2,800 - 3,500 over the last 20 years, Valpo has a real penchant for getting on ESPN Top 10 Plays in all sports (I remember M&W Basketball, Softball, Baseball, Football, and Men's Soccer at different times).  No other small schools seem to come away with as many top plays as we do, and that exposure only helps, as we hope to rebuild this program.

Congrats players, but let's not wait until the last 6 minutes to do that next time.

Coach Powell has been saying he wants a signature win that displays the team's grit. Well, here it is.

Like this game because Kalamazoo is easy to get to. I will be there. Friday Matinee.

We hope you didn't leave in disgust at the 7:00 minute mark.

My day was going horribly. Flight was delayed 4 hours. Finally land, turn on the game and we already down 11 five minutes in. Watch in and out as I am taking the train from Midway to downtown. Turn it off down 20 with less than 10 to go. 30 minutes later I get a call from my dad sounding jubilated asking me if I watched any of the game.

Day restored. Gives me something to watch on the ride back to Valpo. I dont know whether to be excited we won or discouraged we were down 22 to a 3-7 MAC team.

It's odd, but because of our history for top plays, I assume that once we tied it and their guy missed with 8 seconds left, we all felt that Justus was going to make that shot, and it then went in.  I had an eerie sense of calm as he was taking that shot.

@vuswim08-12  Golder's shot was good, but we weren't down 22 to the Redbirds in that game

Talk about a gritty win! Very impressed that Coach Powell kept his players motivated, despite being down 22 with under 7 left to play. I think it shows they trust him and the staff.

We’ve still got many things to work on, but we certainly have fight in us. Let’s hope this motivates students and locals to attend MVC home games this season!

I feel ya Vokk. My drive back to Valpo from indy was 4 hours long because of a crash. This made my day. The biggest takeaway from this isn't the court performance because that was abysmal, but this team's "never say die" attitude. This team is going to give 110% even when down by 20.

Another good thing is that the school is getting a lot of free publicity from this. Hopefully that means something.
