I really hope that 4 or 5 of these freshman can be difference makers from the start, especially on defense.  Another 4 or 5 need to make the 2-deep roster.

According to Coach Carlson there is hope of couple doing exactly that -- and definitely the 2 deep will be bolstered.  There are 8 DL recruits. Two who I have my eyes on are Bama Powell (6-3, 308) at the nose and Dan Terrana (6-6, 260) who seems ideally built to be an edge rusher.

We needed lots of help and this looks like a good class.

To me our top need was size on the DL and we certainly have upgraded that.  We lost alot of RB's but replaced that as well.

Nice job by the coaching staff.
