6-4, 205, CB/WR

Most of his highlights start with D.  Didn't have time to watch any WR stuff.

From his YouTube highlight reel, I liked Nimz's accuracy on deep balls.  Seems to be able to run a bit too when he has to.  He also had some good WRs to throw to.  Liked Catholic Memorial's #81.  If he is a senior we should go after him too.  If he is a junior, go get him next year.
Interesting that Nimz visited Minnesota, North Dakota State, North Dakota, South Dakota State and Minnesota State University Moorhead.

So far 16 posted.  Just the states of Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota and Michigan are represented at this point.  I think they are featuring the 'local" kids (meaning these states) first, then expanding the circle to include the Californis, Florida, etc.

Scarsella and Guzman were part of a great Valpo High defense. Scarsella was the best athlete on the team and he got hurt in practice prior to losing to Penn in the sectional.

Maceo is a very good athlete from Portage as well. He was a running QB. Not sure what they will do with him in VU's offense but he'd be a great fullback.

Drs and Byrd?  Can we buy a vowel??

After the "That's It" tweet, ValpoFB added Adam Meyer, 6'4", 210 OL from California.  So the total goes to 28 and makes it 2 California kids along with increasing the OL total to 7.

In the article he is quoted as saying that the improved winning had a bearing on his decision.

Also a quote given credit to God.  Clearly we are attracting Christian kids who want to play at a Christian school and...it doesn't hurt that he want to study engineering!!  Improving football, Christian and Engineering.  A powerful combo.  At 6'3" 270# he is perfect kid to go to about 290# with plenty of muscle!!

Maceo is listed at 5'9" 180. He's not playing fullback absent a lot of time in the mess hall.

Dave has done great work at recruiting men who are both quality talent and are the types of men who will find other connections to talent via majors and interests.  It probably also helps in recruitment if you pull men who are likely to qualify for other scholarships based on academic/other qualifications since we are non scholarship

valpo64

Coach Dave has been an outstanding addition to the Athletic Staff!

Late offer. Small schools program in Tennessee. Makes sense as I'm not sure slot WR is adequately manned either near or long term:

VULB#62

Good concentration in traffic and quite the nose for the end zone. Speed on tape is all relative to the level of competition, but he out ran a bunch of defenders time and again.

VULB#62

Decent size and a quick read from the Detroit area, I believe. Mom and Dad will be at all gome games at least. 3.95 GPA too.

JD24

Did his highlight tape ever show a drop into coverage? There's a couple of triple option teams in the league but there's also a couple of 40 throws a game teams.
